Artios Awards Phase 1 Casting Director Voting NOW OPEN

Phase 1 Voting for the 2027 Artios Awards is now open! During this phase, eligible Casting Director Members will vote on submitted projects to determine which will advance to the final nomination ballot. Phase 1 Voting is open through Monday, September 28, 2026 at 5pm PT.
Get Ready for Phase 2 Feature Film Submissions
Casting Directors: Phase 2 submissions for theatrically released feature films open Monday, October 26, 2026. Before submitting, confirm that all casting team members are CSA members in Good Standing by October 15, 2026.

CSA Leaders Pull Back the Curtain at Tribeca
At the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival, CSA President Destiny Lilly and fellow CSA members Ellen Lewis, Douglas Aibel, Susanne Scheel, and Karlee Fomalont came together for a candid conversation moderated by Fomalont about creative instincts, career-defining collaborations, New York’s singular talent pool, and what actors should know about the casting process.

What does it take to build the “perfect” cast? At the Glendale International Film Festival (GIFF), join CSA members for Casting Community: Trends, Standards, and the Search for the “Perfect” Cast, a free panel featuring CSA members Henry Russell Bergstein, Candido Cornejo, and Leslie Wasserman, with moderator Paisley Baker. Together, they’ll explore the trends and professional standards shaping casting today.

CSA Heads to the New York Film Festival for Seeing Stars Panel
Join Casting Society at the 64th New York Film Festival for Seeing Stars, a conversation celebrating the artistry and impact of casting following the introduction of the Academy Award for Achievement in Casting. CSA member Karlee Fomalont will moderate a panel featuring fellow members Allison Estrin and Doug Aibel, along with Markus Schleinzer. Together, they will discuss the instincts, collaboration, and creativity behind the memorable ensemble casts featured at NYFF64.

Casting Society Cares (CSC) will once again host a table at the Broadway Flea Market, taking place on Sunday, September 27, 2026 in the Theatre District. This beloved annual tradition, benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, is one of the most anticipated events of the year for Broadway fans—and your contributions help make it a success.
Volunteers are welcome to help for an hour or more throughout the day.
