Artios Awards Phase 1 Nominee Announcements & Final Ballot Voting Coming Next Week

The 42nd Annual Artios Awards are in full swing! Phase 1 Nominees will be announced on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. And Final Ballot Voting will open on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Voting is open to all CSA members in good standing and ends on October 23, 2026, at 5 pm PT.

Support the Artios Awards & Volunteer as A Phase 2 Vetter

Vetters review submissions before voting begins to ensure each entry complies with the Artios Awards Rules & Criteria. Vetting is administrative only and does not involve judging projects or determining nominations.

Reviews begin on Friday, November 6 and are expected to conclude Friday, November 20, 2026.

Complete the Volunteer Interest Form by Tuesday, October 13 at 12 pm PT/ 2 pm CT/ 3 pm ET/ 8 pm BST.

Actor of The Month: Arty Froushan

Meet the September 2026 Actor of the Month, Arty Froushan! In an interview with CSA President, Destiny Lilly, Arty reveals how a short filmed during drama school led to a flourishing acting career with roles in Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale and House of the Dragon. He also shares his current streaming obsession and reveals his secret side gig.

Actor of the Month is a monthly collaboration between IMDbPro and Casting Society that celebrates the casting community and spotlights its members through a series of interviews between casting directors and actors about their acting journey, the casting process, and how IMDbPro helps them advance their careers.

Christine will cover the differences between wills and trusts, when an estate plan may make sense, how retirement assets fit into the picture, and what to look for when choosing an estate planning professional.

The Bowery Mission’s West Harlem Women’s Center — NY

In September, CSA members volunteered to prepare and serve lunch at The Bowery Mission’s women’s residential facility in New York. Another opportunity to give back is coming up in October, with one volunteer spot remaining at its West Harlem Women’s Center.
