The Q&Agency and Casting Society (CSA) Announce Strategic Partnership
New York, NY (July 7, 2026) – The Q&Agency and Casting Society (CSA) are proud to announce a new strategic partnership. Through this collaboration, The Q&Agency and CSA will educate both industry members and general film-lovers about the oft-underexplored and uniquely fascinating art of casting through The Q&Agency’s signature hourlong live virtual Q&As.
As part of the agreement, CSA will share information with its members regarding The Q&Agency events of interest to the casting industry, including those featuring CSA members. In turn, The Q&Agency will feature more casting directors as part of its programming. Following The Q&Agency's successful ongoing partnership with the American Cinema Editors, CSA and The Q&Agency aim to foster increased appreciation for, and exposure to, the casting industry and a deeper understanding of the art of casting.
“After our years-long partnership with ACE and the mutual success we’ve experienced together, we are enormously excited to begin a collaboration with one of the industry’s most exciting organizations, CSA,” said The Q&Agency’s co-founders Joshua Handler & Adam S. Gordon. “Casting has received an increase in well-deserved attention over the past year with its new Oscar category, and we cannot wait to further educate audiences on the invaluable work casting professionals do to bring the most indelible characters off the page and onto the screen and stage.”
“CSA is excited to partner with The Q&Agency to broaden awareness of the artistry and influence of casting professionals. This is a pivotal moment to recognize the essential role casting professionals play in the creative process and to deepen public appreciation for our contributions,” said Destiny Lilly, President, Casting Society.
The Q&Agency is a live, virtual Q&A series dedicated to promoting media literacy through hourlong events with the world’s leading creatives on the essentials of film, TV, and theatre. With their casual yet focused approach to each intimate conversation, The Q&Agency has become a premier destination both for creatives to explore their work in detail as well as for general filmgoers and industry members to gain unfiltered insight into the creative process. The series, co-founded by Joshua Handler and Adam S. Gordon and programmed and moderated by Handler, is tightly curated with each title handpicked for its contributions to the art form and cultural conversation.
