About Findley Davidson

  1. Findley Davidson started her career in casting as an intern and later as a Casting Assistant for The Telsey Office where she assisted on the The Color Purple, Hairspray, Wicked, Rent, Aida and the O'Neill Playwrights Festival. She also worked in the production office on Sex and the City Season 3, and later worked at HBO in the Creative Services Department supporting producers and creative directors. She went on to be Co Casting Director for the Sundance Theatre Lab for two seasons and worked on such plays as the original casting of Annie Baker's Circle Mirror Transformation directed by Sam Gold. Casts at the Sundance lab seasons included Colman Domingo, Giancarlo Esposito, Kristine Nielsen, Reed Birney, Denis O'Hare, James McDaniel, Heidi Schreck, Amari Cheatom, Sahr Ngaujah, Tracee Chimo, Peter Friedman, Deirdre O'Connell, Michael Chernus, J Alex Brinson, Allison Pill, Lisa Joyce, Francis Jue. Findley spent 15 years in the Casting Department at Warner Bros Television first as a manager and later working her way up to running the New York Casting office as Vice President. Her primary function was as the in-house NY Casting Director for various Warner Bros TV pilots and series. Findley also served as New York Casting episodically on projects Bad Monkey for Apple +, Sandman for Netflix, Lisey’s Story for Apple +, Titans for HBO Max, Prodigal Son (pilot episode) for Fox, Claws for TNT, What/If for Netflix, Gotham (pilot episode) for Fox, The Lottery on Lifetime, among others. In early 2023, Findley departed Warner Bros and launched her own casting company: FINDLEY DAVIDSON CASTING, based out of New York. She received her BFA from the Drama Department at Syracuse University and currently lives with her family in Brooklyn.
