NY TECH FAIR 2014 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!
On Saturday, January 11th, the triennial New York Tech Fair was held at Telsey + Company! More than 80 members of the casting community attended, and representatives from Breakdown Express, Cast It, Casting Networks, Now Casting, and Back Stage, Casting About and Talent Pro Plus presented informational sessions, workshops, and Q&A forums. We also had a Mac Genius available to answer questions, and at the end of the day, the casting community took part in an hour-long round table discussion where we shared information on editing technology, maintaining casting databases, making our offices greener, and voiced different technological concerns.
The CSA Board also set up a booth at the entrance where attendees were welcomed and encouraged to GET INVOLVED on different CSA committees. We had 26 members of the casting community sign up to get involved. A great start to growing our community involvement in 2014!!
The New York CSA board would like to extend a huge thank you to the members of the Tech Fair Committee for organizing a fantastic event.
