ABC DIVERSITY SHOWCASE

ABC TELEVISION NETWORK IS ACCEPTING TALENT SUBMISSIONS FOR AUDITION CONSIDERATION

As part of ABC Television network's ongoing effort to discover and nurture a diverse pool of creative talent in the entertainment industry, the network's Talent Development & Primetime casting departments are branching out across the US to hold auditions for the networks upcoming pilots as well as the ABC Casting Project's Talent Showcase.

ABC's Talent Showcase has established an industry standard in creating opportunities for talent, with the majority of participants being given the chance to audition for a variety of ABC (and other networks') pilots and ongoing programming.

What: Auditions for ABC's Pilots and Casting Project

Who: Participants must be at least 18 years old. Previous acting experience/training is required, but professional representation is not necessary.

How: See below for submitting details and deadlines. ABC will contact selected actors to schedule an audition. If you are not contacted by ABC, you should assume you have not been selected to audition.

When: TBD

Why: ABC has a long-standing commitment to promoting diversity in the entertainment industry through a variety of projects administered by its Talent Development & Casting departments. The Casting Project offers an excellent opportunity for talent that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Read Carefully Before Submitting:

1. Please submit headshots and resumes only. No tapes.
2. All envelopes must be clearly marked.
3. Do not double submit.
4. No phone calls.
5. Please note deadline-Friday, October 7, 2005. No submissions will be accepted past the cut-off date.

6. Members who are chosen to audition must be willing to travel to the designated city at their own expense.

SAG members only, please submit your headshot and resume to the office noted below. Others should check the ABC website regarding submission information.
